Announcing Our Newest Team Member: Andy Steinaway, Sales Engineer
Belco Industries is proud to announce the addition of Andy Steinaway who joins the Belco team as a Sales Engineer.
Andy comes to us with a degree and background in management and is eager to put his versatile skill set to work.
As an eight-year Golf Professional, he led a large junior golf program, ran multiple tournaments and golf outings and shared his passion with others by providing lessons. (Bonus for us!) Through these experiences, Andy mastered the ability to multitask and places great importance on attention to details, as well as providing the highest level of customer service.
Andy loves challenges and learning new things and is looking forward to participating in projects from planning to execution. He will truly be an asset to our sales team, and we are partially in debt to his father for that! When asked why he chose this field of work, Andy replied, “My Dad is a Mechanical Engineer and now a Project Manager. I’ve always admired his work ethic, organizational skills and ability to connect with his peers and customers. This industry allows me to speak some of the same technical language as him, while working on a similar skill set myself.”
Andy’s responsibilities at Belco will include preparing and presenting technical materials which explain our products and services to prospective customers, working with customers and engineering to determine equipment needs, gathering technical information and specifications from customers and making recommendations, and proving value to customers by demonstrating how changes can lower costs and increase production.
Originally from Pinckney, MI, Andy has family and friends in the Belding area and is happy for the opportunity to spend more time with them enjoying West Michigan and boating on the big lake. He also likes to snow ski, attend sporting events, travel, and of course, play golf! Andy’s a Michigan football fan and in case you are wondering, his favorite golf course is Fisher’s Island Club in New York.
Fun Fact: “I played baseball for 13 years and hit my first and only home run on my last at bat ever.”
Join us in welcoming Andy Steinaway to the team!
